Recently a security issue around passwords was identified in both BidJS and Bidlogix so we made it a priority to fix this and ship it out to you. BidJS clients will need to make sure they are using BidJS V1.3 or above in order to take advantage of the security fix.
This release includes a significant version increase and change to your BidJS configuration if you wish to upgrade to our newest version. We are jumping up from our current version 1.5 to 2.0 because we've overhauled the installation method for the better, but it will include a significant effort from your developer or technician to implement the changes. Click here to read more about what we've changed and why, and as usual please feel free to send us any questions you might have on firstname.lastname@example.org.
On top of this, we have added an all-new feature called My Invoices, which is a new module that any BidJS client is able to use once they upgrade to V2.0. In its early form, My Invoices will display simple invoice information such as outstanding payment amounts to users, as well as some other light details. We will be improving this feature over the next few months and we can't wait to share it with you as we think it's a game changer. To find out exactly what your users will see initially, please click here. We will be updating this document as we add new features.
That's all for this release, see you next time.
